Wayne Dafoe is a Canadian welding expert with 39 years of experience in the field. He is best known for his role as co-owner of Canada West, a welding and repair company that specializes in storage tanks. Along with a friend, Wayne founded Canada West with the goal of providing a complete turnkey repair service to customers.

At Canada West, Wayne manages the day-to-day operations and serves as the project manager in the field. He also handles the estimating side of the tank repair division. Wayne has been managing tank repair for 15 years and has extensive experience in the storage tank business, as well as in pressure vessels, pressure piping, structural welding, and general fabrication and repair.
One of the core values of Canada West is building better projects through better relationships. The company strives for total transparency and uses its extensive knowledge to provide the best possible service and repair to its customers. To maintain safety, quality, and strong relationships, Canada West keeps its business fairly small.
Wayne is joined by a team of welding experts at Canada West. Chad, a fellow co-owner, has 35 years of experience, while the Quality Control Manager has 40 years of experience and the Superintendent has 25. Together, they have built a company that is committed to providing high-quality welding and repair services to customers across Canada.
